Laura’s Blog: The Messy Desk is intended to be bits and chunks of thoughts, not limited to one topic. I am a self-proclaimed optimist with interests in diverse areas. The Messy Desk reflects some of my eclectic notes.

I am an Information Technology professional with interests in my field of Internet Technologies and development. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Living in the Silicon Valley is exhilarating with so many conferences and expos – all within driving distance – featuring the latest in the high tech industry.

My other areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

    I know what you mean about “Hello World”. It has an important meaning in an expanding Internet crossing the physical boundaries of our oceans and continents.

    However, now that we’re entering a Web 2.0 environment, and since RF waves travel into almost infinite space, perhaps we should update our welcome: Hello Universe !!
